The island of Santorini
is one of the most popular destinations in Greece.
Due to its famous volcano, this island is the one

houses with bright-coloured shutters and doors,
snow white churches and narrow, cobblestone streets.

The magical island of Santorini does not
only offer astonishing sunsets and scenic villages but also
superb beaches.
The particularity of Santorini’s beaches is due to the existence
of the volcano; this explains why all the beaches have fine,
black sand.
The only beach to escape this rule is the so-called Red Beach,
which has, as its name implies, amazing red sand.
The waters of Santorini are profound, of a deep blue colour.
Almost all the beaches are well-organised.
Perissa and Kamari are the most famous ones.
