:: About Lassithi Greece

Lassithi Greece
The island of Lassithi is part of the archipelago called Cyclades. The island is laying in the most eastern part of the group, near Naxos and the Little Cyclades.

Lassithi is famous for being the place where the French movie The Great Blue was shut.

Apart from its amazing beaches and its dramatic mountain scenery, Lassithi has a magnificent Byzantine monastery called Hozoviotissa Monastery, perched on a cliff and completely whitewashed.
